Jeff managed to gracefully direct a painless transition from our old-school static Web 1.0 site to a contemporary Web 2.0 interactive community site. The site retained the same look and branding value but now allows any of our volunteer leaders with basic word processing skills to create and publish Blog entries, Calendar and event postings, forum comments and even conduct polls of the membership. The best part is that Jeff used open source free software for content management so our non profit budget was not severely impacted. Board leaders and volunteers can now collaborate to manage our web communications instead of relying on one over-worked web technician. Jeff Pflueger's editorial photo assignments have involved climbing technical first ascents of peaks north of the Arctic Circle, kayaking on a class V+ river expedition, whitewater rafting a remote Canadian river, and even backcountry skiing in his home state's Sierra Nevada Range.

His work appears in National Geographic Adventure, Outside, Men's Journal, The New York Times, Sunset Magazine, and many other publications.
