The Life Cycle of the Digital Image
From the initial concept to publication, every image has a life cycle. I provide digital imaging services for the entire life cycle of the image from pre-production to innovative web publication.
Pre-Production
Much of photography is about effectively and creatively solving problems. Budgeting, location scouting, research and finding and hiring talent are all neccessary steps for any shoot. I will solve the challenges, so that you don't have to.
Shooting
I use exclusively high-end digital and lighting equipment and has an innovative and technically well versed approach to photography. Whether at 17,000 feet in Alaska or in the studio, you have the most cutting edge equipment at your service.
Post-Production
I deliver you images the way you need them. Editing, color-correction, and captioning are standard options. I also do plenty of digital manipulation, illustration and compositing if requested, and offer photography post-production for the web including the creation of rotating product shots and interactive QuickTime VRs.
Delivery
I deliver your images the way you need them. Some people enjoy an online private lightbox that they can view and respond to real-time as I shoot, others prefer a Hard Drive or a series of DVDs in the mail. Some would like the images transfered electronically directly to their server. Whatever your preference, I have the technological sophistication to deliver the images to you efficiently - exactly how you want them.
Web Communications
In this hyper-digital age, we can't think about photography without thinking about the web. In fact, it is impossible to plan reaching anybody with any type of information without the web. The web offers organizations, journalists and photographers enormous possibilities to recruit, educate and inspire huge targeted audiences. To leverage these possibilities, I'm fluent with a variety of programming languages, and I have helped several clients with innovative web communication strategies to maximize the size of their audience and engage them with their message.
